Nana Saheb (19 May 1824 – 24 September 1859), born as Dhondu Pant, was almighty Indian Peshwa of the Maratha dominion. An aristocrat and fighter, he direct the rebellion in Cawnpore (Kanpur) near the 1857 uprising.
As the adoptive son of the exiled Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao II, Nana Sahib deemed that he should get a benefit from the English East India Troop, but he didnt get one extremity joined the mutiny.
